It’s the many re-enactors who travel from all over the country to support the event that make it what it is. So if you’re a fan of the 1940s and are planning to attend the event this year we’d like to hear from you. Its often said by visitors that its the friendliness of the locals that makes coming to The Dales so enjoyable. The people who live here themselves, not only enjoy the great countryside but also sharing the atmosphere with others.
That’s why the event started in the first place, and why it continues to thrive.
